I’ve been looking forward to sharing my birth story with you all since Conley was born. My birth story isn’t anything like I would have expected, but regardless of how it happened we got to welcome our beautiful, healthy baby girl into the world on November 7th, 2018.
Are you sending out Christmas cards this year? Is it on your never-ending holiday to-do list to get those ordered? There are so many places that you can order your holiday cards from but one of our newest favorite places is Basic Invite!
This might have been one of our favorites to pick out favorites for & the hardest to narrow it down! There are so many beauty gift sets and favorites that are on our wish lists! Make sure to add one (or three) of these to your own personal list!
Basically, this is a list of things that we either have or want! If you’ve got a girl in your life who you aren’t sure what to buy for, here are a few ideas on what she might want to receive this holiday season!
For the girl who loves a quiet night in more than anything OR a brand new mom who is definitely in need of some comfy items, this is the gift guide for them! You can’t go wrong with a comfy robe, PJs, and blanket!
Do you have a friend that is always hosting? Or does your mom love getting gifts that she can use in her kitchen or around the house? We hope that this provides just a little bit of inspiration as you shop for your loved one who is always the hostess!
Got a fit friend or family member? Or maybe you are looking for your own list because you have some end of the year goals or new years resolutions that you’d love some new gear for! We rounded up some inspiration to help you shop for your friend (or yourself)!
Thanksgiving is in exactly one week which means we are getting very close to the season of Advent! While we will be focusing on Thanksgiving, we wanted to go ahead and share a few recommendations for Advent resources so that you can get them ordered before Advent begins!
Listen, we get it. This time of year is completely nuts & you barely have time to keep up with Halloween, prepping for Thanksgiving, (and if you’re anything like us) getting ready for Christmas! You hardly have time to fit it all in so you definitely don’t have time to spend perusing for the perfect sweater for fall.
We are in the final countdown for Conley’s arrival & will be sharing her nursery reveal on the blog soon, however, Collins’s nursery will be a work in progress over the next several months so I thought I would just share a little bit of a sneak peak into the inspiration behind it in the meantime!
I can’t even believe that I have a bag under the desk in my bedroom that I’m taking to the hospital when I go into labor. It seems a little surreal that the time is actually almost here, and that before we know it we will be on our way to the hospital to meet our baby! I am now 37 weeks and a couple days, and after this week I feel like it truly could be any day, so I am preparing myself by trying to keep the house clean and keeping a bag for Kyle and I packed so that we are ready to go.
In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month, we felt that it was extremely important to share a survivor’s story. This story was originally told on Kat Armstrong’s blog as a part of her #METOO series & is being re-shared here with permission from the author.
I don’t know about you, but the summer to fall transition is the hardest living in the great state of Texas. Fall and winter clothes are my absolute favorites, so as soon as they bust out the PSL, I am ready for boots and oversized sweaters, BUT the weather is just not quite there yet.
Although our shower was a couple weeks ago, I am still reflecting on just how special that day really was to me. I wanted to share with you all the beauty that was my shower and also just share my thankfulness to everyone who has been loving on me and my baby girl so well and supporting our little family.
Sometimes I honestly just don’t feel like reading my Bible. Anyone else? I have a sneaking suspicion that I am not alone in this, but I do feel like it’s something we might feel a little bit ashamed to admit at times.
It’s [almost] fall and even though it doesn’t feel like it in Texas, you better believe we have pulled out our fall decor and are burning fall candles around the clock! We got a request to feature our favorite fall candles & so your wish is our command!
If you follow us on Instagram, you know that at the end of August, we (and our husbands) took a vacation to 30A! It was a baby moon for Kyle & Sarah and a 30th birthday trip for me (and also secretly kind of a baby moon for Trey and I, but we hadn’t announced yet)!
This fall is bringing about all sorts of new changes. Fall is hands down my favorite season of the entire year, and I am thrilled to be welcoming our first baby this fall. Some of you may know that over the last two and a half years I have been a personal trainer with Camp Gladiator, but this fall I’ve decided to step down as a trainer with CG.
Kyle always says that he never understands why we didn't create a Simply Brothers Co blog. He is convinced that Trey and himself would have more subscribers than we do, so I decided to let him share a little bit about himself today.
I can hardly believe that I am already in the third trimester with our baby girl! After the first trimester this pregnancy has absolutely flown by and I can’t believe we are less than 3 months from meeting our baby. Today, I wanted to take some time to share with you all some updates on how the last few weeks of pregnancy have been, to reveal our baby girl’s name and then to share a couple of my favorite items so far!
Let me let y’all in on a little secret, I happen to love sleeping and I'm actually pretty darn good at it! Kyle and I laugh about it all the time, because it takes him forever to fall asleep at night, but I am usually out by the time my head hits the pillow.
Simply Sisters Co. was born out of a desire to share what’s going on, what we are learning, and what we are loving in an authentic way that would serve as an encouragement to other women as they strive to live well in all areas of their lives
